The Exam of All India standard is to be Conducted in Two Shifts
More than one Lakh Students Appearing
Guru gram/Farrukhabad : The exam of first shift of Kishore Vaigyanik Protsahan Yojna begain in all three centers of Guru gram district today at 9.30 am. More than one lakh students are appearing for two shifts in all over India where in BM group of Institutions sutuated at Farrukhnagar , Gurugram, 74 students of first shift exam entered into the exam centre just in time as scheduled .
The list of exam centres for KVPY was announced by Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore in the second week of October this year. The online exam being held today in two shifts across 99 cities in India including BM Group of institutions Farrukhnagar, Gurugram. Although it is situated in the rural area of Gurugram District but considered to be a well equipped modern engineering and management institution of Haryana state.
It is said that KVPY exam centres are allotted to students as per their preferences filled in application form. Candidates had to enter four choices of KVPY exam centres while applying. The complete list of exam centres was provided on the prescribed website at the time of filling application . All the willing Candidates had to check the list to make their preferences of KVPY exam centres.
As per the list displayed on the notice board of BM Group of Institutions, Farrukhnagar, Gurugram, 74 students appeared in first shift. All were waiting with their parents since 7 am to get entry. It was scheduled at 8.30 am and exam was to start at 9.30 am.
The management of this exam center were very strict and after a strict friscing the candidates were allowed to enter the campus. No electronic and digital items and other articles were allowed inside the exam centers except admit card and ID proof.
As per the instructions issued by Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore on the day of exam, test takers had to reach their allotted KVPY exam centre along with their admit card and ID proof only. It was advisable for candidates to reach the KVPY exam centres before time on Sunday for the KVPY exam to complete the formalities and avoid hassles. IIS had issued the complete list of KVPY exam centres 2018, besides exam schedule and important instructions before more than 20 days.
KVPY (Kishore Vaigyanik Protsahan Yojana) is a national level examination conducted by IISc Bangalore. The exam is held for students of exceptional talent who can pursue basic science courses and seek research career in science. This year KVPY 2018 was scheduled to be conducted on Sunday November 4 .
The trends of last more than 3 years indicate that according to the Stream and Category total 3281 students get selection in the KVPY Aptitude for the KVPY Interview. Among those 2991 students of General Category, 276 students from SC/ST Category and 14 students from PWD Category are allowed to appear in the interview.
According to expert a student can take three attempts for KVPY . First in class 11(stream SA), second in class 12(stream SX) and third in first year of bachelors(stream SB) .
