‘DAY -1 :    Brain Storming Session’

‘ E- BANKING  AND DIGITAL INDIA’  the Theme of the Camp

 GURUGRAM : Lions Public School, Sec-10A ,Gurgaon launched a seven days- Residential Camp for the Unit of National Service Scheme  from 26-05-2017 to 1-07-2017 .

The programme  commenced with lighting of the lamp by the Chief Guest Mr. Krishan Kumar Verma,District Co-Ordinator,NSS, Presiding Officer Lion A. C.Goel , Chairman Lion Public School, Guest of Honour Lion D.V Taneja , Former Chairman of the school,  School Manager Mr. Rajiv Kumar, Sr. Principal Dr. Neelima Prakash, Principal Ms Renu Verma and Vice Principal Ms. Indu Kaushik.

Vice Principal Ms. Indu Kaushik appraised everyone with the objectives of NSS Residential Camp and she also introduced the theme of the Camp ‘  E- BANKING  AND DIGITAL INDIA’

Sr. Principal Dr. Neelima Prakash welcomed all the dignitaries and students .She encouraged the students and advised them to participate  enthusiastically in all camp activities .

Glimpses of  FIRST NSS RESIDENTIAL CAMP were shown to the gathering through a Power Point Presentation made by Ms Ruchi Verma, School Faculty.

An interactive session was conducted by Ms. Suman Yadav, School Faculty on the theme and  she  involved the volunteers in a brain storming session.

Guest of Honour Former School Chairman Lion D.V. Taneja shared his views on conservation of environment and urged to Save Mother Earth’.

Chief Guest  Mr. Krishan Kumar Verma, District Co-ordinator, NSS  informed everyone  about the various projects and  activities undertaken by National Service Scheme. He encouraged the volunteers to participate enthusiastically in 7 days Camp activities  to enhance various Skills like Team Spirit, Time Management, Confidence & Personality Development.

Chairman  Lion A.C.  Goel gave his best wishes to the volunteers and inspired them to be the part of the community based services.

School Manger Mr. Rajiv Kumar appraised the gathering about the detailed  7  Days  programme of the Residential Camp and also shared memories and experiences of first residential camp. The opening ceremony was attended the Lion A. K. Bahl, Vice Chairman Trust, Lion Ashok Somal, Secretary Trust,  Lion H. L. Dang, Immediate Past Chairman, Lion N. K. Anand, Immediate Past Secretary, Lion Satish Singla, and Lion Tarun Wadhwa, Trustees.

Programme Officer Ms. Kiran Bala thanked the school’s effort in making the first camp successful and also assured to accomplish the aim of this camp. She also thanked everyone present for sparing their valuable time and making our spirits high.
