What is NLSTSE  ?

NLSTSE (National Level Science Talent Search Examination) is a diagnostic test which helps students improve. Unlike regular tests which tries only to find out how much a child knows (or has memorized), NSTSE measures how well a student has understood concepts in Science and Mathematics, and gives detailed feedback on the same which helps students improve.

Students from India, Tanzania, UAE, KSA, Yeman, Oman, Iran, Qatar, Kuwait, Indonesia and Nepal participate in Unified Council’s flagship offering National Level Science Talent Search Examination (NSTSE).

Eligibility  :

Students of classes I, II, III, IV, V, VI, VII, VIII, IX, X, XI (PCM), XI (PCB), XII (PCM), XII (PCB) are eligible to participate in this examination. Class -1 Student are requested to apply through respective schools only

 

Paper Pattern

There will be a separate question paper for each class and the exam would be in English language. There will be a different Question Paper for each class. All the questions are objective-type with no negative marking for wrong answers. Duration of the examination for all classes 90 minutes.

NSTSE will be based on the CBSE syllabus. NSTSE Question Papers are also suitable for Students of ICSE/ISC and Various State Board/Matriculation Syllabi.

NSTSE EXAM STRUCTURE

NSTSE will be conducted in Two Levels:
First Level will be conducted in the selected test centres. Second Level for the Top-500 students (Class 2-12) across the nation and Top-20 students from each each class will be conducted in the nearest selected State Head Quarters/Main Towns. for Class-1 students NSTSE will be a single level exam.
