Ahmadabad : Prime Minister Narendra Modi unveiled today the state of art, super-speciality public hospital - Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel Institute of Medical Sciences and Research in Ahmedabad today. Built by Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation, the 78 meter high, 1500 bed hospital is equipped with all modern amenities, including an air ambulance. PM inspected the facilities at the hospital. He lauded the efforts of Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation for setting up a world class hospital and said, “Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel Institute of Medical Sciences and Research in Ahmedabad hospital will prove to be a model for other government hospitals in the country.” Built at a cost of Rs. 750 crore, the 17 floor hospital would provide world class services at an affordable price and is linked with Ayush

The Award focuses on the triple bottom-line of People, Profit and Planet. It will be offered annually to the leader of a Nation. The Award Citation says: “Shri Narendra Modi is selected for his outstanding leadership for the nation. New Delhi : A group of schoolchildren on an education excursion from North Sikkim called on the Union Minister for Development of North Eastern Region (DoNER), Dr Jitendra Singh here yesterday. The tour has been sponsored by 11thBattalion of Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) under the Civic Action Program (CAP) 2018-19. The aim of the tour is to give opportunity to students from the remote region to experience the diversity and rich cultural heritage of the vast country and witness the development taking place across the country. NEW DELHI : The result of the Central Armed Police Forces (ACs) Examination, 2017 was declared vide Press Note dated 29thJune, 2018 recommending 170 candidates in order of merit for appointment. The Commission, in accordance with Rule 16 (4) & (5) of the Central Armed Police Forces (ACs) Examination, 2017, had also maintained a Reserve List in order of merit below the last recommended candidate. The Commission recommended 20 candidates, which includes 06 General, 13 OBC and 01 SC candidates, to fill up the remaining posts based on Central Armed Police Forces (ACs) Examination, 2017 from the candidates of Reserve List.
