New Delhi : The joint entrance examination JEE advanced for admission to IIT and NITs has been postponed. Now it is to be held on May 27 instead of May 19 . This decision is taken due to Lok Sabha elections. It was decided on Tuesday . There will be no delay in the declaration of results but the exam will be held after one week the date is may 27 earlier it was to be held on May 19. This decision was taken by the examining committee on 19th March.I is said that in view of the clash in the dates of JEE advanced 2019 and the last phase of Lok Sabha elections 2019 the exam date of JEE advanced has been shifted to may 27 this year. New Delhi. The Central Board of Secondary Education will issue single document combing the certificate and marksheet for class 10th board exams from this year. This decision was taken by the boards examination committee and was approved by the governing body of the board in recent past. A single certificate at Secondary Level Examination including language of the marksheet and certificate shall be issued for class 10th examination with effect from 2019 a senior officials of the board said. It is understood that CBSE board is going to ease the documentation for the students and board too. NEW DELHI : Indian Space Research Organisation has launched a special programme for School Children called “Young Scientist Programme” “YUva VIgyani KAryakram” (युविका) from this year. The Program is primarily aimed at imparting basic knowledge on Space Technology, Space Science and Space Applications to the younger ones with the intent of arousing their interest in the emerging areas of Space activities. ISRO has chalked out this programme to “Catch them young”. The residential training programme will be of around two weeks duration during summer holidays and it is proposed to select 3 students each from each State/ Union Territory to participate in this programme every year covering CBSE, ICSE and State syllabus. He said that ISRO has planned 32 missions this year.
