4360 Rural Students of Navodaya Vidyalaya have qualified for JEE Advanced TEJASWI /STI Correspondent New Delhi : The students of Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas run by Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti under Union Ministry of Human Resource Development have shown excellent results in Joint Entrance Examination Main 2018 conducted by Central Board of Secondary Education. Joint Entrance Examination is conducted for admission to premier institutes like IIT/NITs in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics. A Mobile Application Has Also Been Developed To Locate Centres 40 Per Cent Increase In The Number Of Students New Delhi: With over 40 per cent increase in the number of students registering for National Entrance-cum- Eligibility Test (NEET) this year, the CBSE has decided to conduct the exam in 23 more cities taking the number to 103. A mobile application has also been developed to help the nearly 12 lakh students, who are expected to take the exam, in locating the nearest test centre. According to the CBSE, a record 11,35,104 candidates have registered for the exam, which is 41.42 per cent more than the previous year's number.
