-Children Enthusiastically Took Out a Rally to Spread Awareness Among Society
-Students Came to School Wearing Green Badges
-Plantation & Cleanliness Drive Were Taken Up in The School Premises

GURUGRAM : Lions Public School celebrated Earth Day  to spread awareness and show  a great  concern for  preserving  our planet “The Earth” for ourselves and future generation. Various activities were organized in the school. Students came to school wearing green badges. Teachers also came dressed in green. They wrote slogans and posters to save the environment.

On this great occasion children enthusiastically took out a rally to spread the message of keeping our earth green and stop using polythene.  They also made beautiful newspaper bags which were beautifully decorated to spread the message to save the environment. To teach the children the value of trees, Plantation Drive was also carried out in which children generously brought different species of plants. A cleanliness drive was also taken up in the school premises to preserve the environs of the school.

Rajiv Kumar, Manager  Lions Public School was overwhelmed to see the future volunteers of the blue planet. He said that it is our duty to save environment’s beauty. We all must be sensitive towards our environment and earth. In the present situation we have to be very careful about our surrounding that is gifted by the nature. It is our prime duty to nurture the nature and save for our future so that Eco system could not get disturbed. Due to some irregularities we shall be affected badly.

Sr. Principal Dr. Neelima  Prakash appreciated the efforts of the children and motivated them to continue being the ambassadors of the green earth and carry their message further. She was of the opinion that all sections of the society must insure their participation in saving the earth .

Principal Ms. Renu Verma suggested the children that it is our moral responsibility  to save our ‘life giving’ and ‘life saving’ Mother Earth by following the 4 R’s i.e.  Reduce, Reuse, Recycle and Regenerate.

Vice Principal Ms Indu Kaushik encouraged the children and said ‘Together we can and together we will’ save our Mother Earth. HOD Science  Ms Aruna Behl organized the whole event and Coordinator Ms Kiran Bala, Deputy Coordinator Ms Anita Wadhwa were part of this celebration.
