Noida : Many Parents demonstrated against JSS Public School in Noida and demanded 50% discount on shcool fees of their chikdren . They shouted sligans against the school mannagement as chikdren are being deprived from attending the online classes. All parents were exhibiting posters infront of the school gate.
Parents said that there has been a downturn in the business since lockdown and those who have worked on salary have either lost their jobs or reduced their salary. Considering these facts the management must reduce the school fees for this year.Some said that they are not in a position to submit school fees at a time.
Speaking on this occassion NCR Parents Association said that some schools are pressurizing parents to deposit fees by threatening to cut or name the children. The silence on the fee waiver is questioning. This is very difficult time and all sections of the society are in financial trouble due to Covid 19 situation. The representative of the Association is of the opinion that all schools management must consider the demand of the parents and reduce their fees.

This demand is being made in all NCR cities like, Noida, Gaziabad, Faridabad, Gurugram.as well as Delhi too. The State govt of Delhi has already announced and warned the school managements to not to demand school fees and warned strong action but Govt of UP and Govt of Haryana are silent on this subject. Now Parents are compelled to agitate against school management.
This has become a political issue in Noida. Some congress workers staged dharna in front of Saint Joshef School, Greater Noida supported the demand of fee waving of made by parents on 24 th August .
