New Delhi: CBSE 10th class board exams have been canceled and 12th class board examinations have been postponed. This announcement was made by Union Education Minister Dr. Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank through a tweet today.

He told that Prime Minister Narendra Modi today discussed the matter with officials of the Ministry of Education and the Board. This decision was taken in view of the wild spread of corona infection in many states in the country.
Education Minister Nishank said that the results of class 10th will be prepared on the basis of the criteria prepared by the board. Class 12 exams will be held later. Regarding the examination of 12, the board will review the situation on June 1, only then some decision will be taken.

He also said here that the students of class 10th will be sent to the next class on the basis of internal assessment. If a student is not satisfied with the evaluation, then he can take the exam if the situation is normal.

It is worth mentioning that the board exams of 10th and 12th were scheduled to be held from May 4 to June 14, 2021. Regarding the 12th board examination, a decision will be taken after review on June 1, whose information will be given 15 days in advance.
