GURUGRAM<\/strong> :\u00a0 Ambrish Gupta of Class IV of Lions Public School, Sector 10 A, Gurugram, scored 7th Rank in Zonal and \u00a023rd International Rank in National Computer Olympiad. In National Science Olympiad too he scored 20th Zonal Rank\u00a0 and 388 International Rank. He was given a Certificate and a Gift\u00a0 Voucher of Rs. 1000. Another student of this school Tanveer Singh of Class III scored 23rd Rank in NSO Zonal and in International Ranking got 350th \u00a0position. National Science Olympiad (NSO) is a yearly competitive exam conducted for school students organized by Science Olympiad Foundation .<\/p>\n Both students were given a thunderous applause in the school assembly for their achievements as they made the school proud. Speaking on this special occasion Sr Principal Dr Nilima Prakas said that these are the upcoming scientists of our nation who have shown their scientific ability. All achievers must continue their dedication towards science and always keep updated about new research and inventions.<\/p>\n Delivering motivational speech in the school assembly Rajiv kumar, \u00a0Manager of the school said that at the school age a student’s inclination can be analyzed perfectly as per their activities and stream where they do well. Identifying their ability the teacher would nourish them and provide necessary guidance. A school is indeed a nursery where different types of children grow and Lions Public school has been following this great philosophy. The resultant of this effort are today’s \u00a0achievers. He encouraged all students to do well in their choice of fields.<\/p>\n National Science Olympiad (NSO) \u00a0exam aims at cultivating scientific reasoning and logical ability among the students through a rigorous test. The Science Olympiad Foundation primarily envisions the scientific curiosity and vigour in young students through competitive exams. Students of classes 1 to 12th are eligible to appear for the 1st level Olympiads through their schools<\/p>\n
