{"id":2921,"date":"2021-10-20T16:35:21","date_gmt":"2021-10-20T11:05:21","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/schooltimesindia.com\/?p=2921"},"modified":"2021-10-20T21:37:07","modified_gmt":"2021-10-20T16:07:07","slug":"72nd-inter-services-football-championship","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/schooltimesindia.com\/archives\/2921","title":{"rendered":"72ND INTER-SERVICES FOOTBALL CHAMPIONSHIP"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>New Delhi :\u00a0<\/strong> \u00a0The 72nd Inter-services Football Championship was held at Maharaja Stadium, Kochi between 15 &#8211; 20 Oct 21. <strong>Indian Navy, Army Red, Army Green and Indian Air Force<\/strong>\u00a0teams participated in the four-day long championship conducted by Signal School under the aegis of the Southern Naval Command at Naval base, Kochi.<\/p>\n<p>The finals were played between\u00a0<strong>Army Red<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0<strong>Air Force<\/strong>. Rear Admiral Antony George, Chief of Staff, Southern Naval Command was the Chief Guest for the finals and Closing Ceremony on 20<sup>th<\/sup>\u00a0Oct 21.\u00a0<strong>The championship was won by Indian Air Force<\/strong>. The Chief Guest presented the Services Football Trophy for the Year 2021-22 to the\u00a0<strong>Indian Air Force<\/strong>\u00a0and gave away the medals to the team members of the winners and runners up.
