The course allows \u00a0research associate to gain hands-on experience in Analog and VLSI Design under expert guidance from IIT Madras and Texas Instruments India.\u00a0 The last date to apply is 30th April 2022.<\/p>\n<h1 id=\"research_associateships_in_analog_and_mixed_signal_vlsi_design\" class=\"sectionedit1\">Research Associateships in Analog and Mixed Signal VLSI Design\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0:<\/h1>\n<h4 class=\"sectionedit1\"><\/h4>\n<div class=\"level1\">\n<p>IIT Madras invites applications from motivated candidates for research associate positions working on cutting edge research in the area of analog and mixed signal VLSI design, in the Department of Electrical Engineering. This programme is a joint initiative by\u00a0<strong>IIT Madras<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0<strong>Texas Instruments India Pvt Limited (\u201cTII\u201d)<\/strong>\u00a0which brings together expert faculty and a strong academia-industry interface. Research associates will be eligible for admission in the Master of Science (MS) Programme (by research), subject to the norms and admission criteria of IIT Madras.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Applications for the academic year 2022-23 are now open. To apply, use\u00a0<a class=\"urlextern\" title=\"https:\/\/www.ee.iitm.ac.in\/vlsi\/tiiprogram\/applicationform\" href=\"https:\/\/www.ee.iitm.ac.in\/vlsi\/tiiprogram\/applicationform\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">this link<\/a>.<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<h5 id=\"features_of_this_programme\">Features of this programme<\/h5>\n<div class=\"level5\">\n<ul>\n<li class=\"level1\">\n<div class=\"li\">Associates in this programme will work on relevant industrial problems, and will have the opportunity to intern at TII. The research will be supervised jointly by faculty from IIT Madras and engineers from TII.<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li class=\"level1\">\n<div class=\"li\">Candidates will be selected based on a written test and interview conducted by IIT Madras.<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li class=\"level1\">\n<div class=\"li\">The selected students will receive minimum emoluments of Rs. 25,000\/- per month throughout the programme.<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li class=\"level1\">\n<div class=\"li\">The students selected to the program will receive a provisional non binding employment offer from TII at the time of joining the course.<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<h5 id=\"apply_if_you\">Apply if you<\/h5>\n<div class=\"level5\">\n<ul>\n<li class=\"level1\">\n<div class=\"li\">Want to work on challenging projects in Analog\/Mixed Signal IC Design<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li class=\"level1\">\n<div class=\"li\">Are passionate about circuit &amp; system design<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li class=\"level1\">\n<div class=\"li\">Want to design and fabricate your own IC and see it work!<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<h5 id=\"to_apply_you_must\">To apply, you must<\/h5>\n<div class=\"level5\">\n<ul>\n<li class=\"level1\">\n<div class=\"li\">Have a Bachelor&#8217;s degree in Electronics\/Electrical\/Telecommunications\/Instrumentation engineering (or allied disciplines) with an aggregate of 65% (up to the final semester; if the final semester results are not yet announced, up to the seventh semester).<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li class=\"level1\">\n<div class=\"li\">Have a valid GATE score of 650 or more in EC, EE, or IN.
