New Delhi:<\/strong> (Educarnival IIT Delhi<\/a>) Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia on Thursday said the education system has collapsed under the weight of exams and needs to be revived with innovative assessment practices. He said that until the current examination system is changed, the entire education system will remain a “slave” to the three-hour annual examination system.<\/p>\n Deputy Chief Minister Sisodia, who attended the 13th education conference ‘Educarnival’, organized by the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) in Delhi<\/a>, said that the most urgent reform in the Indian education system is to change the traditional examination and evaluation systems.<\/p>\n “The learning process will remain only a battle to pass the exam. Until the current examination system is changed, the entire education system will remain a slave of the three-hour annual examination<\/a>.
