\"\"Geo-Genius is established by leading academicians with an aim of popularizing the understanding of Geography among the school children. The mission of Geo-Genius <\/a>is to spark student interest in Geography. Their objectives are to increase public awareness about Geography, to educate the children about Earth and to inculcate a deep love and respect for the environment which plays a major role in their progress . \u00a0The Organisation initiated a\u00a0branch of National level Geography Olympiad competition<\/a> by the name \u201cGeo Genius\u201d.<\/p>\n

With the help of this exam qualified and experienced members of Geo-Genius try to investigate the geography knowledge of students of India.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Who can participate in\u00a0Geo-Genius Exam ?<\/h2>\n

 <\/p>\n

Geo-Genius <\/a>organized its First and Second National Level Geography Olympiad in 2010-11 and 2011-12. The Olympiad is open to students of class 2 to 4 (sub-junior category)<\/a>, 5 to 7 (junior category)<\/a>, and 8 to 10 (senior category)<\/a> and is conducted in two steps.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Children initially participate at their respective schools.<\/p>\n

Gold, Silver, Bronze medals and merit certificates are awarded to the winners and a certificate of participation is given to all the participants.<\/p>\n

Students selected on the basis of cut off marks are invited for National Finals.<\/p>\n

Top three rankers of each category are awarded with Laptop, Digital Cameras and Wrist Watches.<\/p>\n

Geo Genius strives to acknowledge the efforts of all the National Finalists by awarding a Trophy and Certificate.<\/p>\n

The registration for Geo-Genius National Geography Olympiad 2017-18 has started.<\/h3>\n

2017-18 Exam Date is Friday 8th Dec 2017.<\/h3>\n

Last date for enrollment is 31st Oct 2017.<\/h3>\n
