GURUGRAM : Lions Public School, Sec-10A, Gurugram organized felicitation ceremony on 28th May,18, for its meritorious students who have made everyone proud by scoring high percentage in Class XII Board Exams. Out of 99 students appeared for the board exam 27 students secured above 90% marks .
In Science Stream 10 students out of 42 secured above 90%. Granthika Sharma topped by scoring 98% followed by Chirag Arora 95.25% and Divya Sharma 95%.
In Commerce Stream 13 students out of 35 got above 90%. Nikita Kalra scored 96.75% , followed by Tanmay Kumar 95.75% and followed by Aditi Yadav and Pragya Gupta got 95.5% and in Humanities out of 22 students Ishika Batra scored 96.5% followed by Rhythm 92.75% and Muskan Sejwal 91%.
School Management Committee members came to felicitate these stars. Parents of these students were also invited to attend the ceremony. On this momentous occasion Ex Chairman Lion D. V. Taneja, Chairman Lion Vijay Budhiraja, Immediate Past Chairman Lion A. C. Goel, Ex Chairman Lion H. L. Dang, Secretary Trust Lion Ashok Somal, Treasurer Lion Sunil Singla, Lion Dr. C. S. Pasricha and Mrs. Saroj Wadhwa were present to wish and shower their blessings on these children.
Senior Principal Dr Neelima Prakash welcomed the august gathering and expressed pride at the spectacular result of Class XII. She congratulated the students and appreciated the support of the parents.
Ex-Chairman Lion D.V. Taneja honoured the children by presenting them the memento and urged them to always remember the values they have ingrained in school which will help them to live a successful life.
The Chairman of the school Lion Vijay Budhiraja was overwhelmed to see the result of the students. He presented mementos to the students for their meritorious performance and congratulated the students on their success.
Principal Renu Verma posed her confidence in the students and thanked the management for their unflinching support. Vice Principal Indu Kaushik applauded the efforts of the school teachers who have been instrumental in bringing such a commendable result.
Vote of thanks was delivered by Manager Mr. Rajiv Kumar. He appreciated the efforts of students, teachers and applauded the support of parents and Management. He also emphasized on the importance of hopes and aspirations and how they are the stepping stones on the path of success.
Students and Parents present on the occasion expressed their gratitude and owed their success to teachers.
On this occasion Coordinator Kiran Bala, Deputy coordinator Anita Wadhwa, Controller of Exam Aruna Behl, HOD Exam Cell Poonam Gavri , HOD English Mamta Shridhar and all the teachers of Class XII graced the occasion.
