22 Reputed Schools of the city Participated in this Competition
Over All Winner Trophy EURO INTERNATIONAL, Sec -45
Gurugram : Lions Public School celebrated Lion K.C. Wadhwa Memorial Inter School Fest ‘Swapnil Rang –Anandotsav-A Journey of Joy’-2018 on 3rd November 2018. The competition was held for various levels. As many as 22 reputed schools of the city participated in this competition.
The programme started with the welcome address delivered by Sr. Principal Dr. Neelima Prakash, who stressed on the importance of how the platforms like these encourage young minds to unleash their true potential.
After the inaugural session the school became abuzz with excitement and colour. The students from various schools participated enthusiastically. A variety of competitions like Loony Tunes, The Garden of Joy, Stem, Rhythm of Journey, Virtousi, The Mind Fizz Quiz and Warli Art Painting were held at the fest. The school pulsated with creativity and latent as participants put their best footforward.
The function was attended by Trust Chairman Lion Vijay Budhiraja, Ex Chairman Lion D. V. Taneja and Lion H.L Dang. Trust Ex- Secretaries Lion N. K. Anand and Lion Ashok Somal, Ms Saroj Wadhwa W/o Late Lion K. C. Wadhwa, Lion Tarun Wadhwa.
On this occasion our beloved Principal Ms Renu Verma, HOD English Ms Mamta Shridhar and Deputy Coordinator Ms Anita Wadhaw were also felicitated for their dedication towards the institution by District Governor Lion T.P. S. Khillan, Lions International District 321 A1.
In his key note address, the Chairman of the school Lion Vijay Budhiraja emphasized on nurturing and treasuring the students in a manner that leaves them into the realms of fresh discoveries.
Ex-Chairman Lion D. V Taneja address the gathering and reminded all to do something to Save Our Mother Earth. He asked to stop use of Polythene bags and plant more and more trees.
School Manager Rajiv Kumar applauded the spirit of young contestants and said that these children are the torch bearers of change in the world.
The programme concluded with the prize distribution ceremony. The host school did not compete in any event.
