Gurugram : The Divisional Commissioner of Gurugram Ashok Sangwan said that the State Level Children Festival (Bal Mahotsav 2019 )will prove to be a big stage to showcase the outstanding talent of children. In this, the passion and enthusiasm with which children are showcasing their talent in various arts is very commendable and children have worked hard for this.

He said this while addressing the children and participants from all the districts of the entire state after inaugurating the State Level Children Festival-2019 organized by the Haryana Child Welfare Council at the Kingdom of Dreams, sector 29 Gurugram on Thursday. . He announced on the occasion that a show will be shown free of charge at the Kingdome of Dreams on December 23, the last day of the festival, for the children who are winners in various competitions. The commissioner  said that the preparation and enthusiasm with which the children are participating in this festival is undoubtedly praise-worthy.

He called upon the children that hard work is the path to success and that the children who are doing so well at this age on the strength of hard work will undoubtedly illuminate the name of their state Haryana and country in future.

He said that this is the first time that such large-scale arrangements have been made for the entertainment of the children of the state. He described the five-day State Level Children Festival as a festival for children in which they can have a lot of fun. He also appealed to the common man that he must bring his children to this children’s festival and enjoy it to the fullest.

He announced from the stage that the talented children who secured first, second and third place in this festival will be shown free on the last day in the Kingdom of Dreams. He opined that our intention is that the children participating in this Children Festival should come back from Gurugram district with good memories.

On this occasion, Haryana State Child Welfare Council General Secretary Krishna Dhul said that the state level children’s festival is being celebrated for the second time on such a large scale. Earlier it was organized in Rohtak last year, which was also very successful.

An attempt has been made to make this festival a fair, where all necessary arrangements have been made for the entertainment of children. In this festival, where children will showcase their talent in various arts, they will take entertainment and good memories here. All the arrangements for the children, including the stay, have been made well. He said that children can have a lot of fun in the Kingdom of Dreams for five days. He clarified  that admission to this is free.

He said that on the first day of the festival, about 532 students from different parts of the state have participated in various competitions, including solo dance, group dance, solo songs, patrotic group song, poster making, sketching on the spot, Thali decorations, Thali Pujan And rangoli competitions.

Before the inaugural session Divisional Commissioner Ashok Sangwan, Deputy Commissioner Amit Khatri, Council Secretary General Krishna Dhul, Divisional Child Welfare Officer Amarnath Narwal, District Child Welfare Officer Narendra Malik visited various forums and observed various arts performed by children. The council’s General Secretary distributed  mementos to the Chief Guest and other Guests of Honour .
