Students of Rokford School Amazed Everyone in Five-days State Level Children Festival 2019

Children Festival 2019 was Organised by Haryana State Child Welfare Council

Gurugram : The students of Rokford Convent School amazed everyone with their art in various competitions during the five-days state level Children Festival 2019 organized for the school children held in Gurugram. In Group 4 of Rangoli competition, Sakshi Jangra, a student of Rockford Convent School, Gurugram explained the spiritual message for human life by depicting “Guru Nanak Dev Ji” with her art. By displaying his brilliant Rangoli, she impressed the Divisional Commissioner, Gurugram, Ashok Sangwan and all the eminent and respected persons of the state . As a result Sakshi secured First Prize place for Rangoli.

Needless to say that thousands of visitors to the Children Festival were seen appreciating this wonderful art of Sakshi. The name of the children of Rockford Convent School was cast on everyone’s tongue as the children of this school got their talent ironed in different categories in other genres. On this occasion, in the Rangoli competition itself, Master Nikhil of this school also received the Third Prize in Group 3 and praising of the people present.

In other competitions such as sketching held here, Dipanshu Pandey, a student of Rockford Convent School, achieved third place in Group 4 while Darshan Sarkar won the consolation prize in Group 3. Apart from this, Master Nikunj in Group 2 also received a consolation prize. During the Children’s Festival, Kumar Ankit, a student of the same school, secured the third position in Group 3 in the poster making competition. All the children of Rocke Ford School, Gurugram, with their talent, illuminated the name of their school and their art teacher not only in their city but in the whole of Haryana state . It is clear from this remarkable achievements that the Rock Ford School not only holds an excellent place in education but also in other professional activities like sports, music and various fields of art.

On this occasion, Mukesh Dagar, Director of the Rocke Ford School, encouraged the children and said that through such events, the hidden talent within the children comes to the fore. He said that in our school, children are provided with the requisite direction and platform to enhance their natural talent. Our teachers encourage them time to time for this. School children have enriched the academic history of the school by winning awards at the state and national level, which is a matter of pride for us.

 

It is noteworthy that a five-day Children’s Festival has been organized by the Haryana State Child Welfare Council at Kingdom of Dreams, Sector 29, Gurugram. It was inaugurated by Ashok Sangwan, Commissioner of Gurugram Division on 18th December. Gurugram District Deputy Commissioner Amit Khatri and other senior officials were also present on this occasion. The main objective of this festival was to provide an opportunity for the natural talent present in the children to emerge. Gurugram Divisional Commissioner, Ashok Sangwan , was the chief guest of the inaugural ceremony of the event, while the closing ceremony of the Children Festival 2019 was concluded in the presence of the chief guest and the Governor of haryana state , Satyadev Narayan Arya on 23rd December. Krishan Dhul, Honorary General Secretary of Haryana Child Welfare Council, who was the architect of this special event, put all his strength in making the program a success. For five consecutive days, different chief guests and distinguished guests encouraged the children to observe various arts performed by the children. Among those who came here were Haryana Legislative Assembly Speaker Gyanchand Gupta, Transport Minister ,Moolchand Sharma, Union Minister of State Ratan Lal Kataria, Education Minister Haryana, Kanwarpal and many MLAs and senior officials who saw and inspired the outstanding nature of children’s talent.

Haryana Child Welfare Council Honorary General Secretary Krishna Dhul said that the state level children’s festival has been organized in Gurugram for the first time. On this occasion, lakhs of children came from different districts of Haryana. About 6 hundred children participated in music, rangoli, theatrical, dance, singing, playing and other competitions.
