CBSE & Facebook to introduce training for teachers

New Delhi : CBSE and Facebook India introduce training programs in Augumented Reality for teachers & Digital Safety & online well being for students.Registration for the programs starts from 6 th July 2020. Dr Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank, Minister of HRD said that the intiative launched by cbseindia and Facebook India to introduce training programs in Augumented Reality for teachers & Digital Safety for students is commendable.

He encouraged teachers and students to join these programs.

Facebook said, “This course of online safety will cover security, privacy, mental health and Instagram’s guides to lay the foundation for healthy digital habits.”

This module is designed to give students the right guidance about becoming responsible digital users, identifying threats and harassment as well as misinformation.

The training provided by the Center for Social Research (CSR) will involve around 10,000 students.

10,000 teachers will be trained in the first phase, while in the second phase 30,000 students will undergo training.
