Gurugram, 14 April :  “For Swarnim Bharat towards 2047 with solutions for all the ills prevailing in the society, we have to revisit the major contributions of Ambedkar to be known to the world as the father of Human Resource Development (HRD) in India”, said Vice-Chancellor Starex University Professor M.M. Goel who is known as Founder of Needonomics School of Thought. He was paying his tribute to Bharat Ratna Dr B.R Ambedkar on his 131st birth anniversary today in Amar Krishna Hall of the university while addressing the students and staff.

To change the mindset and uplift the consciousness of the people in India, we need to remember Ambedkar and celebrate his birth anniversary on April 14 more than an annual ritual as Satyakama Divas (Day to Seek the Truth), justified the Vice-Chancellor Goel.

Ambedkar’s canons of public expenditure can be used as a touchstone to see every single decision in terms of the faithfulness (needo-faithfulness) to the will of the people; wisdom (Needo-wisdom) as provided by the professionals in the field, coupled with well-considered and honest judgment in execution of the policies (needo-investment), explained Needonomist Goel.

Registrar of the University, Prof. (Dr.) Amaresh Kumar expressed his thoughts on the contribution and character of Baba Sahib on the basis of available records and explained the facts of the death of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar in parliament in the presence of the then Prime Minister, Sh. Jawahar Lal Nehru.
