Gurugram : Under the Faculty Development Program, a one-day workshop was organized by the Management Department of Gurugram University on the topic “From Idea to Research Model Making and Publication of Research Paper”. A large number of University researchers participated enthusiastically in this workshop . The program was attended by Dr. Sanjay Kumar, Professor of Information and Decision Science, USA, Valparaiso University and Dr. Raine, Associate Professor of Accounting, USA, Valparaiso University as keynote speakers. Gurugram University Vice Chancellor Prof. Dinesh Kumar presided over the programme. The workshop started with the lighting of the lamp by the honorable guests.
Dr. Sanjay Kumar, who was present as the keynote speaker on this occasion, highlighted the importance of creative ideas in writing an influential research paper. He also told the scholars how to improve their skills to write and publish a good research paper, further the keynote speaker said that any university is recognized by the research work being done there. Told. He said that today new technologies are being born only through research works. Research provides direction to human knowledge. Research solves practical problems. Therefore, researchers should choose the research topic according to the need of today.
Dr. Raine, another expert present in the program, explained the need and utility of research in the field of management to the students in detail through a presentation. This included how to conduct the research, selection of the research topic, specific techniques, what research process should be adopted for collecting and evaluating the data. Further the keynote speaker said that to write a good research paper, the researcher should be patient.
Addressing the research scholars on this occasion, the Vice Chancellor of Gurugram University, Prof. Dinesh Kumar said that many important steps have been taken by the Gurugram University in the last few days, whose fruitful results are now showing and the university is on the path of continuous progress.
He said that many facilities are available in GU for the research scholars. We will continue to try to promote research activities in the same way.
