-77 students from Gurugram’s ideas accepted
-Out of 814 selected students, 565 students are from government schools
Gurugram, March 10 : SCERT Director Samvartak Singh informed that innovations of 814 students of the state have been selected under the Inspire Standard 2024-25 program. In the list of selected students, ideas of 77 students from district Gurugram have been approved. An incentive amount of Rs 10,000 has been provided to each student.
He said that this is a proud moment for Haryana. He congratulated the selected students, DSS and the entire team of Science Department for this achievement. He said that this success is the result of hard work and dedication of our teachers and students. We are proud of this achievement of our students and we will give them all possible support in future as well.
A total of 22,066 ideas were submitted from across the state this year, out of which 814 were approved. This figure not only highlights the creativity of the students but also reflects the success of efforts to promote science and innovation in the state. It is noteworthy that out of the 814 students selected, 565 students are from government schools, which reflects the quality of government education in the state and the innovation potential of the students.
He informed that Inspire Standard is an initiative of the Department of Science and Technology, Government of India, which aims to promote the spirit of science and innovation among students from class 6 to 10. Under this, the selected students are encouraged to convert their ideas into prototypes and participate in further stages.
This success of the students of Haryana has not only brought laurels to the state, but has also inspired more students in the field of science and innovation in the future.
