GURUGRAM :   Rotary Public School, Sector 22, Gurugram organized  ACCOLADES in the school amphitheater on AUGUST 5, 2017. The Chairman, School Managing Committee, PDG Rtn. Dr. Sushil Khurana, welcomed the Chief Guest for the day, Prof. Raj Nehru, Founder, Vice Chancellor, Haryana Vishwa Karma University and President Rotary Club and Chairman Rotary Service Trust, Gurgaon, Rtn. Trilok Garg. Vice Chairman Rtn. Anil Jain with the other distinguished Rotarians, guests and the parent fraternity graced the one of the most important events of the school‘ ACCOLADES’,the SCHOLARS DAY AND INVESTITURE CEREMONY that is a major event of RPS and is eagerly awaited by all.
The auspicious morning commenced with Saraswati Vandana followed by the Investiture Ceremony that instills leadership.With the introduction of each new member of the school council, the members stepped on to the stage for formal felicitation by the Chief Guest.
Jainesh Mehta was chosen the Head-Boy and Shreya Jain, the new Head-Girl while Krish Maheshwari and Himansi Sharma took the oath as Assistant Head Boy and Head Girl respectively. Vishesh Sharma and Nivriti Rai were awarded with the posts of Jr. Head Boy and Jr. Head Girl respectively.
Office Bearers of the Interact Club of the School – President, Jt. Secretary, Directors and Treasurer were also conferred with the badges and administered the oath.
The school echoed with the melodious songs of the school choir reflecting the spirit and enthusiasm of the new cabinet.The Scholar Badge Ceremonythat followedto honor the meritorious students for excellence in academics for the session 2016-17.
The Chief Guest in his address also congratulated the newly elected office-bearers and urged them to lead by example. He also congratulated the parents for helping their wards in achieving their goals.
The School Principal, Mrs. Sandeepa Rai, thanked the Parents for their support. The program finally concluded with an energetic dance performance by the exuberant dancers and the National Anthem.
