Faridabad: A festival of Jashn-e-Azadi will be organized on 14th August on the occasion of 75th Independence Day at Lingayas Vidyapeeth (Deemed-to-B) University. On this special occasion, a painting competition will be organized to encourage the creativity of the children. In this competition, children from 10 years to graduate (UG) level from all the cities of Delhi-NCR will be able to showcase their talent in painting. The responsibility of organizing the painting competition has been given to the School of Humanities and Social Sciences, Department of English, Lingayas Vidyapeeth (Deemed-to-B) University.

The event will be held on August 14 from 10:30 am to 12:30 pm. In this competition, the participating children will have to paint T-shirts in the color of the tricolor. The child with the most beautiful painting will be given a cash prize. 1500 rupees for the first place participant in the competition, 1000 rupees for the second place winner. And the third place winner will get Rs 700. Will be given Apart from this, e-certificates will also be given to the three winners.

Professor Anand Pathak, Associate Dean of the School of Humanities and Social Sciences Department of English, says that this epidemic has confined students to their homes. Even in this odd situation, his sense of patriotism and pride for the nation is on the rise. Children will be able to express their feeling towards the nation through this competition.

He said that keeping this in mind, our department thought of making this nectar festival of independence more special. Independence Day is such an occasion that if everyone is celebrated together, it becomes even more special. That is why we wholeheartedly invite all the children of Delhi-NCR to witness this special occasion. On one hand we will share the joy of Independence Day with each other, while on the other hand creativity will also get an opportunity to emerge.
