NSS Residential Camp Moving Gradually Towards Very Interesting Subjects  

Day Four Theme – ‘First Aid’ and ‘Each One Teach One’

GURUGRAM : The fourth day of a week long N.S.S Residential Camp at lions Public School sec-10 a Gurugram was focused on service before self. The theme of the day was ‘First Aid and Each One Teach One’. The session was taken over by Ms. Darshana, School’s Medical Representative, she explained the objective of  First Aid Training and also told the volunteers about the  three primary goals of first aid like Preserve life, Prevent further injury and Promote recovery.

The Second Half of the session started after the lunch break and rest, children came out fresh and bubbling with enthusiasm. Ms. Jaswinder Kaur , School Faculty and Ms. Kiran  Bala, Programme Officer appraised the volunteers with the theme ‘Each One Teach One’. They also explained the importance of this project. A kit comprising books , notebooks and stationery was provided to the volunteers. They were also given the responsibility to teach someone ,the basics of education.

Present on the occasion Lion Om Wadhwa ,Treasurer Trust appreciated the efforts of the volunteers and motivated them to serve the society by  teaching the underprivileged ones.

Manager Mr. Rajiv Kumar emphasized that education is a powerful weapon to change the world and its the responsibility of the youth to spread the awareness.

The Senior Principal Dr. Neelima Prakash stressed on the need of importance of education in life and urged the volunteers to spread the light of knowledge in the society. The Vice Principal Ms. Indu Kaushik advised the volunteers to apply the skill at the time of need and be the life savior. Faculty Ms. Suman Yadav and Mr. Lakshman Sehrawat  were also present throughout the day.
