Gurugram, 20 April : School of Humanities jointly with the School of Commerce and Management, Starex University organised a Special lecture on ‘Today’s New World’ by Dr Parin Somani a renowned international speaker and educator.
Dr Parin Somani quoted Mahatma Gandhi’s “Be the Change you wish to see in the world” for the action plan needed today. Having faced a global pandemic, we are in the midst of reaching a ‘new normal’ full of immense change and uncertainty. To be well prepared for this transformation and progress towards sustainability, it is always helpful for us to understand how our world and societies have been affected, explained by the learned scholar who lives in London.
To understand the challenges faced pre and post-pandemic, we must have the endeavor to develop skills and explore possibilities to facilitate progression in today’s new world with a positive mindset, believes Dr Parin.
On this occasion Professor M.M . Goel, Vice-Chancellor, Starex University delivered a welcome address and presented a citation on the achievements of Dr Parin Somani the great empowered woman of India. He justified the principle of needonomics for facing the challenges in Today’s New World.
Dr Sheelu Bhatia, Dean School of Humanities acted as a master of ceremony and Prof. B.B. Tiwari Dean of Commerce and Management proposed a vote of thanks. Many students and faculty members participated in the Special lacture .
