Shantivan (MountAbu) August 14 :  “To promote ethics in Indian education system towards Swarnim Bharat in 2047, there is a strong case for needo-spirituality as education without ethics is like eyes without sight,” opined Professor Madan Mohan Goel Founder of Needonomics School of Thought and experienced Vice-Chancellor in Govt. and private universities of India. He addressed a three-day Conference for Educationists during 12-16 August 2022 organised by the Rajyoga Education and Research Foundation (RERF), the education wing of Brahma Kumaris at Manmohinivan, MountAbu. He spoke on the topic “Needo-spirituality for Needo-education in Swarnim Bharat ”. BK Chanda of RERF delivered the welcome address and presented a citation on the achievements of Prof. M.M. Goel.

For fetching fortunes of Diaspora dividend with the export of Indians and making education relevant, we must encourage needo-spirituality flowing from Gita and Anu-Gita, explained needonomist Goel.

The fraternity of teachers can become warriors of wisdom for phygital (blended mode) education to empower Indian youth relevant for Swarnim Bharat, believes Prof. Goel.

Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS) with creativity, innovation and critical thinking to ensure needo-employment and needo-entrepreneurship calls for needo-education with spirituality and communication skills, believes Needonomist Goel.

Five of the 17 targets of SDGs 2030 on quality education & learning outcomes call for a fine-tuning the Indian education system with needo-spirituality, explained Prof. Goel.
