GURUGRAM : Ipsaa day care celebrated children’s day with Dastangoi-an ancient form of storytelling. Mr. Ankit Chadha performed “Dastan Tollbooth Ki” at the ipsaa auditorium in Sector 51, Gurgaon. More than 150 children attended the mesmerising performance. They participated enthusiastically, their faces alight with curiosity and excitement. Ankit Chadha- a Dastango, weaves research-based narratives performed in the Dastangoi form of Urdu storytelling. He has spoken on Dastangoi globally, including at Harvard, Yale, and University of Toronto.

Storytelling has a magical effect on children’s ability to express and encourages them to engage with their imagination. It also helps enhance their emotional awareness, besides adding to their vocabulary and listening skills.

Being one of the leaders in the day care industry, IPSAA takes immense pride in providing children the joy of learning and creating as they grow.

Children found this interactive session very interesting and even parents could not help but get involved. “What a lovely way of storytelling, so engrossing. Children enjoyed a lot yet learned many new words ” said Ms. Jayshree, a parent of 7 year old.

“Amazing experience, sessions like these should happen more frequently so the new generation also gets to know how we were told stories by our grandparents” said Mr. Pankaj Jha who accompanied his 6 years old daughter.
