App Innovation Challenge 2021 Featuring 16 Categories & Prizes worth Rs. 50 Lakh

The Prime Minister Narendra Modi ji has given a clarion call to celebrate the 75th year of Independence of India, as the Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav. On this auspicious occasion, the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY), is launching the Amrit Mahotsav App Innovation Challenge 2021. The challenge seeks to identify the best Indian Apps , which have the potential to scale and become world class Apps in their respective categories.

The National Testing Agency  and SAI will organize Fit India Quiz 2021. For this purpose registration is open to all schools across the country of any board. Schools can register themselves and nominate their students. Individual candidates cannot apply directly for this . The winning participants will be given cash prize. It is the India’s biggest quiz on Fitness and sports for schoolchildren. It has provision of cash prize worth Rs 3.25 Cr.

Future of Indian sports is in the hands of coaches : Union Sports Minister

Union Minister for Youth Affairs and Sports and Information & broadcasting, Anurag Singh Thakur, visited the Netaji Subhas Southern Centre, Sports Authority of India, Bengaluru and participated in the Teachers’ Day Celebration of the 58th Batch of NIS Diploma in sports coaching, here today. DG, SAI, Shri Sandip Pradhan and Smt. Ritu Pathik, Regional Director, SAI, Bengaluru Centre, were also present at the event.

ESSC and IG Drones will Jointly Train Youth in the field of Drones

The Electronics Sector Skill Council of India (ESSCI), working under the Union Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship, will now provide skill training to the youth in drone technology. For this, ESSC has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with IG Drones, a leading drone company in the country. According to ESSC, with the development of drone technology in the country, it has now become a billion-dollar industry.
